Senior Advisor and New Directors of the Supreme Audit Office Introduced

Mr. Mohammad Naiem Haqmal, Auditor General, the Deputies, and the Senior Management of the Supreme Audit Office, Today dated July 10, 2021, Introduced Mr. Fazlullah Nezami as the Senior Advisor of the Auditor General (Grade 1 position), Mr. Murtaza Noori as Director General for Audit of Performance and Special Audit department (Grade 1 position), and Mr. Fazel Wahab Mumtaz as the Director of Audit of Security, Defense and Social Safety sector (Grade 2 position) to the employees of the Supreme Audit Office. They have succeeded in achieving these positions through free competition process.

First, the Auditor General and the deputies of the Supreme Audit Office, whilst welcoming and congratulating the Senior Advisor and the New Directors, also expressed hope that with the appointment of these young cadres in the vacant positions, the Supreme Audit Office team will work collectively move toward achieving the strategic goals of the organization.

Next, the Senior Advisor to the Auditor General and the new appointed Directors expressed their gratitude for the trust of the President and Auditor General of Supreme Audit Office, and they promised that would not withhold any effort to achieve the identified goals of the Supreme Audit Office.

It is worth mentioning that Mr. Nezami has a master's degree and previously served as the director of policy and plan of the Supreme Audit Office. Likewise, Mr. Noori holds a PhD in Management Studies and formerly worked as Policy and Transparency Adviser of the National Procurement Authority, and Mr. Mumtaz has a Master’s degree and has worked as the head of the unit for the revision of the public and security sector expenditures at the Ministry of Finance.
