Meeting with Director General of the state-owned companies of the Ministry of Finance

The meeting chaired by Mr. Sayed Bilal Hashemi, Deputy Auditor General of Audit of Performance and Information and Technology with presence of Mr. Ghulam Haidar Rasouli, Director of Audit of the State-owned Companies and Enterprises was held regarding the audit of 45 state-owned companies and 1 state-owned enterprise that are audited by the Supreme Audit Office the delegates of Ministry of Finance, Dr. Mirwais Baheej, DG of the state-owned companies, and Mr. Sayed Bilal Safi, Director of Monitoring of the State-owned companies.

The meeting focused on development of financial reporting system, capacity development of human resources and the best practices of management and monitoring state-owned companies.

Dr. Mirwais Baheej, assured and promised to facilitate the audit process executed by the Supreme Audit Office in accordance with the recommendations of the Supreme Audit Office in terms of evaluation and system development of the companies, transforming the old systems into the modern systems, submitting of the standard reports by the companies according to IFRS criteria, and recruitment of professional staff.
