The Digital Information Systems of the Supreme Audit Office was Inaugurated

The digital systems of the Supreme Audit Office, developed by the Department of Information Technology was inaugurated during Afghanistan Digitization Week.
In this inauguration ceremony, the Deputies, Directors and employees of the Supreme Audit Office participated, Mr. Sayed Bilal Hashemi, Deputy Auditor General for Audit of Performance and Information Technology stated that the opening of the digital information systems is an effective step toward increasing acceleration, transparency and accountability and emphasized on the digitization and standardization of all departments of the Supreme Audit Office. Afterwards, Mr. Najib-ur-Rehman Rahmani, Deputy of Finance and Administration, talked about the importance and role of digital information systems in the present era, he said that the launch of 13 information systems within the office at a very low cost is an important achievement for the office. He added that with the effective use of these systems, the working processes will be accelerated and the necessary facilities will be created within the Supreme Audit Office.
At the end, Mr. Shirzad Zahed, Director of Information Technology stated comprehensive remarks about the information systems, and requested from the employees of the of the Supreme Audit Office to implement these systems. He added that in the future, more information systems will also be developed and prepared for other departments of the organization
