The Separate Inaugural Meetings with the Ministry of Public Works (MoPW) and the Afghanistan Railway Authority (ARA) Conducted by the Supreme Audit Office

According to the International Standards of the Supreme Audit Institutions (ISSAIS), the designated officials of the Supreme Audit Office (SAO) held separate meetings about introduction and inauguration of audit of public projects at the premises of the Ministry of Public Works and the Afghanistan Railway Authority.  In these meetings Dr. Najib Yameen Minister of Public Works, Mr. Wali Khan Shabgir, Director General of the Afghanistan Railway Authority, Mr. Seyed Bilal Hashemi, Deputy Auditor General, Mr. Mohammad Fahim Amini, Director of Audit of Public Projects of SAO and some other officials of the Ministry and the mentioned entities participated. 
First, Mr. Sayed Bilal Hashemi and Mohammad Fahim Amini, briefed essential remarks on the goals, authorities and responsibilities of the Supreme Audit Office and the auditee/under audit organizations, and requested the cooperation of these entities in conducting the audits. Then, Mr. Yamin and Mr. Shabgir respectively assured SAO officials about their collaboration in conducting the audits and provision of any required and necessary information and documents to the SAO officials, and they promised not to withhold any type of cooperation in this regard.
