Supreme Audit Office’s Deputy Director of Finance and Administration and Director of Infrastructure, Natural Resources, Economy and Agriculture Audit were introduced

Today, Sunday, May 30, 2021, based on the decree No. (544) dated May 10, 2021, Mr. Najib-ur-Rehman Rahmani, as the Deputy Director of Finance and Administration, and Mr. Mohammad Riaz Mangal, as infrastructure sector, natural resources, economy and agriculture audit director, after passing free competitive exam process, were introduced to the employees of this Supreme Audit Office.
In this ceremony, Mr. Mohammad Naeem Haqmal, Auditor General of Supreme Audit Office, Mr. Seyed Bilal Hashemi Deputy Director for Audit of Performance and Information Technology, Mr. Mohammad Osman Baburi, Chancellor of Kabul University, Mr. Noor Ahmad Darvish Deputy Minister of Finance and Administration of Ministry of Higher Education, SAO Staff And other guests were present.

The ceremony began with recitation of holly Quran verses, and then the leadership of administration welcomed the guests. Afterwards the Auditor General of the Supreme Audit Office, expressed his gratitude to the President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan Mohammad Ashraf Ghani, for the trust and approval of his proposal and congratulated Mr. Rahmani and Mr. Mangal for their new positions.  He added, "Mr. Rahmani and Mr. Mangal are honest, committed and professional cadres of the country who have the required experience in governmental and non-governmental institutions." Mr. Haqmal then requested from SAO staff to assist with Mr. Rahmani and Mr. Mangal in their tasks in order to achieve the high objectives and plans the organization. 
Finally, Najib-ur-Rehman Rahmani and Mohammad Riaz Mangal thanked the President of Afghanistan and the Auditor General of Supreme Audit Office Mr. Haqmal. They pledged for standardizing the procurement and financial system, applying teamwork, developing electronic mailing system and prevention of bureaucracy, and assured that they would not withhold any type of cooperation in order to achieve the high goals of the organization.

It is worth mentioning that Mr. Rahmani has a master's degree and has previously served as Deputy Minister of Finance and Administration at Ministry of Higher Education. Likewise, Mr. Mangal was in charge of the Human Resources Department of the Supreme Audit Office.
