Audit Team Discuss Foreign Aid’s Audit with Kandahar Provincial Officials

Based on Raesul-Wozara (PM) guidance, SAO audit team, under the leadership of Mr. Mowlavi Muhammad Ghazi Jareer, Director of Foreign Aids’ Audit, met Mr. Haji Yousuf Wafa, Governor of Kandahar, and other officials of the Department of Disaster Management, and discussed about the audit process of foreign aid at Kandahar province on 21/02/2023. 
The audit team discussed with provincial officials about the responsibilities of the Supreme Audit Office in ensuring good governance, strengthening the financial system, and creating fundamental reforms in the public sector.
At the end of the meeting, Mr. Haji Yousuf Wafa, Governor of Kandahar, expressed his readiness and cooperation with the Supreme Audit Office about the beginning of the audit process at the Provincial Department of Disaster Management.
