The Supreme Audit Office (SAO) conducts a meeting with the Ministry of Telecommunications and Information Technology in connection with the implementation of the audit findings and recommendations

In series of its meetings with other government entities, the Supreme Audit Office on 1st Jawza 1400 (22/May/2021) conducted a meeting with the Deputy Minister of Finance and Administration, Director of Internal Audit  department, and Director of Finance and Administration of Ministry of Telecommunications and Information Technology regarding implementation of audit findings and recommendations. 
At the beginning of the meeting, Mr. Haroon Yari, Director General of the Audit and compliance of rules and regulations of SAO, spoke about the importance of benchmarks. Then, Mr. Abdul Mohammad Taraki, director of Audit Findings and Reporting, presented a brief report on the three years audit findings of these entities, meanwhile he provided information on implementation and realization status, and implementation percentage of SAO findings. He also spoke about the importance and legal obligations of the implementation bodies of the audit findings.  
Then, the representatives of the Ministry of Telecommunications and IT presented their problems and challenges in terms of implementation of the findings, for which SAO authorities provided required instructions.

At the end, the officials of Ministry of Telecommunications pledged to fulfill their obligations regarding implementation of the findings and recommendations and to assure SAO about their performance.
