New Auditor General Of The Supreme Audit Office Is Appointed

Based on the order (358), 27/07/1343, of Ameerul Mominin Sheikh Hibatullah Akhundzada through the Head of the General Directorate of Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, and in the presence of Mawlavi Ezatullah Haqani, (Deputy Auditor General of Financial and Compliance of Legislative Documents Affairs), Najeebur Rahman Rahman, (Deputy Auditor General of Administration and Finance), Fazlullah Nizami, (Senior Advisor to the Auditor General), and other senior officials of the Supreme Audit Office (SAO), the Honorable Sheikh Sayed Rasool Haleem was appointed and introduced to the staff of SAO during a ceremony held in the SAO Auditorium. The introduction ceremony was started with the recitation of the Holy Quran by Qary Abulhaq Ihsas, Head of the Office of Auditor General (AG), then, the honorable Sheikh Noorulhaq, head of the General Directorate of Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan read the order of the Appointment of the new AG, and congratulated him. He also added that those who are chosen by the leadership of the Islamic Emirate for the high ranks, are the people of experience and honesty, and they didn’t ask for these posts, rather the leadership has chosen them. Beside congratulation, Sheikh Noorulhaq also wished the new AG success in his future responsibility. During the ceremony, the new appointed AG thanked the leadership of the government, and also acknowledged that the audit system is important for the prevention of betrayal in national wealth. He committed to bring educated and expert officials into the SAO, so it will become like the other Audit institutions in developed countries of the world. After that, Mawlavi Ezatullah Haqani, congratulate the new AG and introduced him as one of the experts in economics and politics, and a committed personality of the Islamic Emirate. It is also to be mentioned that before that, Sheikh Sayed Rasool Haleem was a member of political group of Islamic Emirate in Qatar office. Before his appointment, Mawlavi Qudratullah Jamal was the auditor General of the Supreme Audit Office of Afghanistan.
