Audit Team Meets Paktia Officials Regarding Audit of Foreign Aid in that Province

Based on the direction of the Prime Minister’s Office, the SAO audit team, headed by the Mr. Mawlavi Muhammad Ghazi Jarir, Director of Foreign Aid Audit, met the Mr. Mawlavi Daud, governor of Paktia province regarding the audit process of foreign aid in that province on 08/02/2023.
The audit team discussed with provincial officials about the responsibilities of the Supreme Audit Office in ensuring good governance, strengthening the financial system, and creating fundamental reforms in the public sector. 
At the end of the meeting, Mr. Mawlavi Daud, the governor of Paktia, expressed his readiness regarding and cooperation in relation to the beginning of the audit process at the Provincial Department of Disaster Management.
