The Supreme Audit Office (SAO) held a meeting with the Ministries of National Defense, Interior Affairs, and Information and Culture regarding implementation of audit findings

The Supreme Audit Office conducted a meeting with the deputies, directors of internal audits departments, and the directors of finance and administration departments of the ministries of National Defense, Interior Affairs, and Information and Culture at the meeting hall of this organization on 30 Sawr 1400 (May 20, 2021) to discuss regarding implementation of the audit findings.
First, Mr. Seyed Bilal Hashemi, Deputy Director for Audit of performance and Information Technology, and Mr. Haroon Yari, Director General of the Audit and compliance of rules and regulations of SAO spoke about the importance of the benchmarks and audit findings. Afterwards, Mr. Abdul Mohammad Taraki, director of Audit Findings and Reporting presented a brief report on the three years audit findings of these agencies, meanwhile he provided information on implementation and realization status, as well as the implementation percentage of SAO findings. 
In addition, the deputies and the directors of internal audits and finance and administration departments raised some problems and challenges in the area of implementation of the findings, for which SAO officials delivered required instructions.

At the end, the mentioned ministries pledged not to withhold any type of assistance and cooperation in terms of implementation of these audit findings.
