Mr. Mohammad Naiem Haqmal the Auditor General of Supreme Audit Office (SAO) introduced Appointment of New Director Performance and Environment Audit to SAO management.

Today, Saturday, Hamal 30, 1399, In a senior management meeting, the Auditor General of Supreme Audit Office (SAO), Mr. Mohammad Naeem Haqmal introduced Mr. Sami-Ullah Sabawon as the new Director of Performance and Environmental Audit Directorate. The Auditor General, briefly informed the meeting participants on Mr. Sabawon’ professional work experience, work competencies and his career desires and his professional commitments. The AG instructed and asked the SAO senior management and their teams to provide all the necessary professional support to him.

Subsequently, Deputy Auditor General / Professional Audit, Mr. Fazel Hadi Fazel stated that: "Mr. Sami-Ullah Sabawon’ professional background in the field of audit provides hopes to the management in bringing and in implementing quality reforms in the Performance Audit Directorate, and extended his full support in the reforms process.

Deputy Audit General / Corporate Services, Mr. Mujeeb-Ur-Rehman Shirzad provided briefing to Mr. Sabawon on the SAO current organizational structure, organizational strategic plan, and performance audit manual, guidelines, toolkits, procedures and other necessary work related documents, advised him to properly collect, review and use them in carrying his routine duties. DAG Corporate Services also offered his support in all pertinent work activities. 

Lastly, Mr. Sami-Ullah Sabawon informed the meeting participants about his professional commitments and that he will follow and stick to; three core principles of performance audit namely efficiency, profitability, economy, and pledged to safeguard greater accountability, accounting for transparency and effectiveness of public assets with the management support of Supreme Audit Office (SAO).  Moreover, it is worth mentioning that Mr. Sami-Ullah Sabawon has completed his Master's degree and has accumulated 4 years of professional experience in the audit field.
